About the SurgiCenter
Lutherville SurgiCenter, LLC is an ambulatory surgical center conveniently located right across the hall from the Greater Chesapeake Hand to Shoulder main office in Lutherville, Maryland. Lutherville SurgiCenter is owned and operated by the physicians of Greater Chesapeake Hand to Shoulder. The two operating rooms and nine-bed recovery center at Lutherville SurgiCenter are fully equipped to provide specialized care for patients receiving hand and upper extremity surgery.
At Lutherville SurgiCenter, patients receiving outpatient surgery experience seamless, attentive, and prompt care from our friendly staff. Our anesthesiologist and registered nurses are trained for outpatient surgery and recovery. Patients are continuously monitored and loved ones are kept informed by our compassionate professional staff.
Lutherville SurgiCenter has provided a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both patients and surgeons since 1999. The facility is licensed by the state of Maryland and fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). It is also Medicare certified.
Insurance & Payment
After your surgery you will receive separate bills for the following services: facility (Lutherville SurgiCenter), surgeon (Greater Chesapeake Hand to Shoulder), anesthesiologist (U.S. Anesthesia Partners or USAP), and pathology (if needed).
All patient co-payments are due at the time services are rendered. Large deductible plans require a deposit prior to surgery.

We encourage patients to pay their bills for GCHS Professional Services and for the Lutherville SurgiCenter fee online through our convenient and secure web-site link. Please see the "Online Bill Pay" feature at the top of our website . You may access this day or night.
